SAP is constantly seeking opportunities to ease customer and partner interactions. Based on that, our company wants to consolidate all customer and partner-facing communities under the roof of the SAP Community.
You and your content can highly benefit from that approach and the strong community network behind SAP Community. With its 2.8m users, there are lots of new opportunities to share, interact, and engage with customers and partners. A new blog category on SAP Community called User Experience Insights strengthens this approach right from the beginning along with our existing, vivid SAP Fiori topic page.
Following that decision, we are also restructuring some of the content areas that were on experience.sap.com. Please find a respective short FAQ at the end of this page. In short:
- The SAP User Experience Community
All content on the experience.sap.com community is affected. We will migrate content that is still valid to our existing SAP Fiori topic page on SAP Community at https://community.sap.com/topics/fiori by March 1, 2021.
- New landing page
It will both direct to the new community home and our SAP Fiori design guidelines, which will still be available under this URL.
From its start six years ago, the SAP User Experience Community has served as a vivid and very successful channel for our engagement with customers and partners. On behalf of our SAP UX unit, we want to say thank you to everyone who contributed to that success by writing, commenting, and sharing via social media channels!
Let’s build on that success and make our SAP Fiori topic page on SAP Community a lively place for content and knowledge sharing.
Thank you and see you soon!
Why are we migrating?
SAP wants to consolidate all customer and partner-facing communities under the roof of the SAP Community. We are following that request and also using the chance to create a new landing page to better reach our design guidelines on experience.sap.com.
Which platform is affected?
experience.sap.com (the SAP User Experience Community)
When will this migration be finished?
The community will be shut down on March 1, 2021. Postings can be published until the end of February 2021.
Which content is affected?
All content on the experience.sap.com community is affected. However, we will migrate most of it from experience.sap.com to our existing SAP Community over at https://community.sap.com/topics/fiori by March 1, 2021. Our design guidelines will stay where they are and be easier to find in the future.
Where can I find UX content in the future?
We will continue to publish on several SAP outlets, primarily on SAP Community: https://community.sap.com/topics/fiori.
