SAP Reference Lists

What's in the SAP Reference Lists?

This guideline contains reference lists collected from various guidelines from SAP. It is offered for the convenience of the readers in order to simplify the search for reference material, such as function names, function keys, or access keys. Moreover, the first version of the R/3 Mini Style Guide, which contained some of the lists presented here, has been replaced by a newer version that no longer contains these lists.

Note that we subsume Internet Application Components (IACs) and iViews (formerly called MiniApps) under the term Web applications.

This document SAP Reference Lists offers:

  • Function names for R/3 and Web applications
  • Access mechanisms for R/3 functions: F-keys, icons, accelerator keys
  • R/3 menus
  • Text guidelines for R/3 and Web applications (English, German)
  • General text guidelines (Capitalization)
