The object details floorplan functions as the child screen of an object floorplan. It is used to show additional information about one attribute of a business object on the object floorplan, and it is accessed by drill-down. The object details screen is usually the last screen in a single workflow. However, the object details floorplan can include actions and modal views to display further details.
The object details floorplan is often used at the end of a workflow to show a single attribute of a business object that has additional relevant content. It is accessible from an object screen and may also connect to a secondary object details screen, if necessary.
The object details floorplan is a full-screen floorplan comprised of the following areas, in sequence: a header area, a content area, and an optional action area. All areas are vertically-stacked together.
A. Attribute details section group
The leading attribute details sections are the first sections in the content area. They show the value or property of a particular attribute of a business object.
B. Referential content section group
Referential content sections are used for information relevant to a particular attribute of a business object. Sections in this area are arranged by frequency of usage to make the user’s workflow as efficient as possible.
Content within the referential content sections is sorted by frequency of usage, with the most frequently-used sections placed first in the group. Sections can override this suggested sort order and appear in a more prominent place within the group depending on the specific needs of the current business scenario.
Access from object screen
The object details screen can be accessed from a drill down on its parent object screen.
Modal view from object detail screen
A modal view with optional actions can be used to present further details of an object details screen. Using a modal view can prevent users from entering into an infinite navigation loop.
