Great to know FIORI 2.0 is finally available, looking forward to install FES3.0 on our Gateway systems.
What about SAP Enterprise Portal running on NW7.5 where FIORI framework is available ? Do we also need to upgrade some components ? If yes, which ones to which level ?

I did installed the SAP Fiori Server 3.0 on an stand alone GW server and I have ECC 6.08 running on HANA and looks like that I am missing a setting to support the launch of sap webdynpros from the fiori launchpad. Can somebody provide help?

    Hi Vincent,

Currently SAP Fiori 2.0 is not supported by the Fiori Framework Page of the SAP Enterprise Portal, but this is being worked on. According to our current planning, which as always is subject to change, we should have a version for trying out (i.e. non-productive usage) beginning of 2017, and we are planning to have it available to customers for productive use in the first half of 2017.

    Regards,

    Hi,
I am planning to upgrade to fiori 2.0
our system is having SAP Netweaver 7.4, EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 and Fiori ERP Application X1 of 1.0 release. So what kind of software components do I need to upgrade? Is FES 3.0 is enough to install or NW 7.5 is must?

    Hello!

For the moment we’ve installed all required components to run out-of-box Fiori Apps via FLP. But there is still a very small list of available transactions for ECC 6.07.

What plans does SAP have regarding out-of-box Fiori Apps for ECC 6.0? Is it possible to find somewhere plans/roadmaps how SAP is going to develop Fiori Apps for ECC 6.07?

    • Thomas Reiss   2 years ago

      Hi Siarhei,
The place to find the road map of planned Fiori apps is the SAP Fiori Road Map, which can found on http://www.sap.com/roadmaps under Cross-Topics. Having said that, the majority of the ERP development in SAP Fiori apps is taking place for SAP S/4HANA.

Tom, Is the Notification Center feature available for Business Suite for HANA : on-premise ?

    • Thomas Reiss   2 years ago

      Hi Nitin,
The integration of notifications with the workflow inbox is only available with SAP S/4HANA, since it relies on the new development there which allows incoming workitems to cause notifications to be created in the notification center.
Technically the notification center is available for Business Suite on HANA if you have a separate SAP Fiori front-end-server with release 3.0, i.e. the interfaces are available in the SAP Gateway running on the SAP Fiori front-end-server which you could use to push your own notifications to the notification center. However, this requires that you code your own notification provider service in the Business Suite back-end.
      Regards,
      Tom
