Portal Fiori 2.0 & SAP_UI5 751
Using the Portal Fiori as the Launchpad
I have created Fiori Tiles that launch a Webdynpro app using the Semantic Object and Action.
All the Tiles are opened in a separate tab with a Shell header containing settings and logoff etc.
I would like to know how to create the Webdynpro Tile so that it opens in the same window and the shell header contains the back arrow to Home, like the following screen
Any help would be appreciated
Have you tried using the parameter Navigation Mode as IN-PLACE in the LPD_CUST T-Code where you are referring your ABAP Web Dynpro Apps?
Thank you Karan
I am not using the LPD_CUST but your suggestion did lead me to looking into the parameter services/ClientSideTargetResolution/config/enableInPlaceForClassicUIs/WDA which Specify whether Web Dynpro applications are opened in-place. This parameter can be set in the Target Mappings per the documentation.
However it did Not work for me so I have created an SAP incident to help me with this matter
Thank you for your suggestion
I’m facing the same issue at the moment.
What was the number of your KBA (or the solution)?
If you are on SAP_UI 752
parameter services/ClientSideTargetResolution/config/enableInPlaceForClassicUIs/WDA which Specify whether Web Dynpro applications are opened in-place. This parameter can be set in the Target Mappings per the documentation.
The feature you are trying to use is for SAP_UI 752 and not earlier versions. Please see Documentation at https://help.sap.com/viewer/a7b390faab1140c087b8926571e942b7/1709.001/en-US/433c4e2499f24602ab1ef353b827b82c.html. The LPD_CUST workaround is available, but unsupported
