Hi all,

I’ve been an SAP ABAP developer for many years and I’ve always been interested in design and UX. I want some insights from experts about where to start? What courses should I take? I have attended some courses on OpenSAP but there a lot to learn yet.

I didn’t find any people for design and UX on SAP mentors. Someone I should follow?

Is there a list for the communication of the next SAP UX summit / SAP UX Day? Is there any way to watch the sessions from the past years?

Thank you very much.

Hi Andrea,

A very good starting point to gain an overview and broad knowledge base is SAP Fiori Overview: Design, Develop and Deploy

This course will give an overview on our design system SAP Fiori, introduce to development topics and shows how to technically run SAP Fiori.

From there you can check out the courses on the development models CAP and RAP:

Building Applications with SAP Cloud Application Programming

Building Apps with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model as development

Or take a deeper dive into the implementation of SAP Fiori as part of an SAP S/4HANA implementation with the course

How to Deliver a Great User Experience with SAP S/4HANA

I hope this can guide you a bit.

If you have further questions please don’t hesitate to come back to me.

Best
