D2 PROFIT_CENTER Profit center PROCEN The business object for profit centers is an organizational unit in Accounting, which a company structures in a management-oriented way, for example, for internal control purposes. Results can be displayed for a profit center, which are determined using cost-of-sales accounting, and/or period accounting. By displaying the committed assets you can extend the profit center to become an investment center. Use: Profitability Analysis on a profit center level is based on costs and revenues. These are assigned statistically by simultaneously updating all logistical business transactions and any other allocations that are relevant to a profit center. The valuation of the deliveries and activities carried out between the profit centers either matches the valuation approach in Accounting, or can vary from it (valuations with transfer prices from Release 4.0 on). 1-4 Button, Function, Status, Message, Textfield
D9 COMPANY_CODE Company code COMCOD The smallest organizational unit for which a complete, self-contained set of accounts can be drawn up for purposes of external reporting. DX CONTROLLING_ AREA Controlling area CONARE Organizational unit within a company, used to represent a closed system for cost accounting purposes.
