Intro

SAP Smart Business drilldown is an analytical app. It enables the user to view and analyze the data of one key performance indicator (KPI).

Responsiveness

SAP Smart Business pages are responsive, but work best on either desktop or tablet devices.

Layout

The page consists of a header and a chart area.

Behavior and Interaction

The header area (light blue bar) at the top contains a smart filter bar with KPI information and the facet filters. The facet filters act as a cross filter secondary to smart filters providing multiple dimensions. By clicking on the blue bar, you can open or close the filter area.

The header also displays the names of the evaluations on tiles with micro charts. By clicking or tapping these tiles, the user navigates to that KPI’s SAP Smart Business app. If the user clicks on the same tile again within the SAP Smart Business app, a popover appears showing the threshold values. Additional tiles display information about other KPIs that might be related or of interest.

When the header is collapsed and all the filters are set, maximum real estate is available for analysis of the content in the chart area below. The chart toolbar provides a number of standard interactions. You can switch between different views, chart types, and a table view. The chart can also be enlarged to full screen size.
