1. Be upfront with commercial intent in how you are using the users data.

2. When conversations fail, direct to a human.

If a bot is replacing or front ending a human interaction, there should be a way for the user to still contact a human.

3. Set user expectations that they are interacting with a bot.

Bots should always announce themselves and their purpose and never pretend to be a human or a known person.
